Amourous boozers need no longer fear the brewer’s flop after a performance enhancing beer hit the market in Austria.

Austrian brewers laced the incredible beer with cheese and brewed it in such a way that, they claim that it can boost the sexual performance of those who drink it.

Until now, for many drinkers, normal beers tend to have a soporific effect on their love lives, causing the embarrassing “brewer’s flop”.

One early taster of the brew in Bregenz, Austria, said: "My wife can't have any objection to me spending the night down the pub now."

Scientists are mystified as to what it is in the beer, which gives it its aphrodisiac qualities.

There is a risk, however, that the beer’s work could be undone by the drinker’s cheesy-smelling breath.
