The black panther story is not yet ready to leave the news just yet as it has now been reported that couple had spotted the mysterious animal while out on a walk in Malmedy in Belgium.

It therefore looks like the big black pussy cat has moved back to Belgium after a little trip to the Grand Duchy.

Various excited Luxembourg citizens have reported sightings of the panther over the past few weeks and the story captured people's imagination.  Much of the population will be disappointed to hear that the feline has left the Grand Duchy.  The panther story was heading towards Loch Ness Monster myth status.  But the "myth" has taken a new turn....

The latest news is that the beast has been caught on camera for us all to see on video! RTL TVi in Belgium has a video filmed in Malmedy.  Close examination of the animal does show that in fact this is “probably” not a cat, especially in the length of the tail.  Conveniently blurry pictures still leave us guessing a bit!

This is for you to decide, here is a link to the video: Click here

In the meantime, that panther has grown in popularity on Facebook.  He or she now has over 9,600 fans! :-)
