Drug dealer arrested in Luxembourg
On Tuesday, the criminal resarch and investigation service of the Luxembourgish police arrested a man that was suspected of dealing drugs in the Diekirch area.
On Tuesday, the Diekirch and Cappellen police units managed to stop a suspicious car whose driver was suspected of dealing drugs.
After a short car chase, through country roads and after just crossing the Belgian border, police finally stopped the car. The driver had returned from Maastricht in Holland where he had just purchased marijuana. The man was arrested and the police found a whopping 4kg of marijuana (worth approximately 10,000 euros) and about 700 euros in cash on him.
The prosecutor ordered his arrest as well as a house search during which a further 14,150 euros in cash and 1.4 kg of marijuana were found, the dealer’s vehicle was also seized.
