The police were called early this morning by a passer-by who heard a fight in an appartment in Hollerich. The police started knocking on the door and announcing themselves, they heard whispers and a woman sobbing inside.

The police decided to break down the door. When they finally entered the apartment, a man jumped in their direction, pointing a knife towards one of the officers' chest. The policeman managed to avoid the attack, grab the suspect and disarm him. He was taken into custody and the knife was confiscated.
