The police from Esch were checking an area in the city when they encountered a group of people known to be connected to the drug trade. When the suspects saw the police officers, one of them ran away  but was quickly caught by the police.

The man was searched and the police found 17 little bags of marijuana containing a total of 35 grams, a grinder, 2 mobile phones and 170 euros in cash. The public prosecutor then ordered a house to be searched where an additional 24 bags of cannabis, making a total of 534 grammes, were discovered The drug dealer was arrested.
